18 Hole, Par 72, Blue Tees - 6,265 yards, White Tees - 5,858 yards, Red Tees - 5,260 yards. The property and course were purchased by the city of Lexington in 1972. The course is located on 125 acres in the heart of Gainesway Subdivision. The facility includes an aquatic center, a large banquet room and short game practice area. It also includes a golf shop and snack bar. The course is described as tight with sloping greens. There are water hazards on two holes.Tates Creek is open year-round except for Christmas Day. The course opens for play 7:30 am until dusk. Tee times are reserved seven days in advance.
