***** ESSENTIAL COURSE MAINTENACE TAKING PLACE - 5 TEMPORARY GREENS FROM THE 1ST OF SEPTEMBER UNTIL THE 15TH OCTOBER ***** Ramsey Golf Club is a relatively short golf course, measuring in at a little under 6,000 yards. The golf club itself is located on the edge of the Fenlands. It was 1965 when a 9 hole course was opened by Dai Rees, Peter Alliss, J Morgan and Michael Bonallack - three years later the former returned with Gary Player, Dave Thomas and Brian Barnes to open the full 18 holes.
