Course Overview

Hessle has a rich golfing history, having been founded in 1898 and with various developments to the course over recent years, it has built up a reputation as one of the best courses in the area. The course has USGA standard greens, which means that members and visitors alike can enjoy the course in any weather all year round. Please be aware that tee time bookings at Hessle are approximate and the club will endeavour to get you out as close to your booked time as possible. While Hessle is quite a long course at 6,608 yards, it’s fairly easy for walking due to the terrain being reasonably flat. There have been several developments to the course over the years, including a new lake between the fifth and sixth hole, which may cause problems to golfers who have a tendency to slice their tee shots. A second lake has also been formed at the par 3 sixteenth hole which requires both length and accuracy to make the green in one. Please be aware that tee time bookings at Hessle are approximate and the club will endeavour to get you out as close to your booked time as possible.
