Course Overview
The first course built at what is now 45-hole Green garden Country Club, the Blue Course is also the longest layout at this popular public facility. Opened in 1973, this semi-parkland layout plays 6,670 yards from the back set of four tee boxes. Several holes do play through a thick forest, demanding precision off the tee, while many of the other holes do offer openings for recovery. The course, which is laid out over rolling topography, also features several elevated greens. Water and bunkers really don't come into play on this straightforward par-72 design, which has a few doglegs, but many straight holes as well. All three courses – which also include the Gold and Emerald nine-hole course -- offers excellent practice facilities, including an outdoor driving range, an indoor range, short-game area and putting green. There's even a practice hole. Inside the clubhouse is a full-service restaurant and bar.
