Course Overview
Great Yarmouth and Caister Golf Club is Norfolk’s oldest golf course founded in 1882. It is steeped in golfing history and situated along the most beautiful stretch of golden sandy beaches in East Anglia. The 18 hole, par 70 course stretches 6330 yards. Great Yarmouth and Caister Golf Club is a fine example of traditional links golf, laid out on predominantly sandy ground, and famous for the quality and stability of the greens. While modern irrigation is now used to ensure that the course is in optimal condition all year round, this does not detract from the links feel. Navigating the rolling fairways, low-lying dunes and well-placed wooden sleepered bunkers to reach the quality greens makes Great Yarmouth and Caister Golf Club one not to be missed.
