Course Overview
Concra Wood Golf & Country Club is a remarkable 18 hole par 72 championship golf course set in Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan. Concra Wood was designed and built in the early 2000’s by two of Ireland’s golfing greats (Christie O’Connor Snr and Christie O’Connor Jnr) and is now regarded as one of Ireland’s best tests of golf. The course is set around the fabulous Lough Muckno which comes into play on more than one occasion, particularly so on the par five 4th hole which is arguably the signature hole of your round. The hole is a sharp dogleg to the right where you will be faced with a challenging second shot. The water then comes into play as it surrounds the narrow green. Concra Wood will be a true test of your golfing ability and will be one of your most enjoyable rounds to date
