Course Overview
One of the more challenging and beautiful public courses in the area, Heritage Golf Links is 27 holes of pure golf. Homes don't come into play on any of the nines, all of which were designed by architect Mike Young and opened in 1996. Two of the nines, the Heritage and Legacy, are par 36 layouts that play around ,3400 and 3,500 yards respectively. The Tradition Nine is a par-35 that's just under 3,000 yards from the back tees. Whatever combination you choose to play, you can expect elevation change, uneven lies, and undulating, elevated greens, all of it routed around a 20-acre lake. Named one of the best new courses you can play by Golf Digest magazine when it opened, Heritage Golf Links demands accuracy both off the tee and the approaches. But there are five sets of tees, starting around 3,000 yards for 18 holes which means all levels of players can enjoy it. In addition to the golf course, Heritage Golf Links also has a lighted grass driving range that features targets that truly simulate approach shots. There's also a short-game area and practice putting green. While the course is open to the public, annual and corporate memberships are also available. Inside the clubhouse is a well-stocked golf shop as well as the Heritage Bar & Grille. The restaurant, which was remodeled in 2014, features indoor and outdoor patio dining with great views of the golf course and lake. The Grille menu includes breakfast and lunch sandwiches, appetizers, burgers, beers and cocktails.
