Course Overview
Wilpshire Golf Club is set in the of the Ribble Valley. This Golf Club provides a stern test of golfers of all abilities. The course measures 5,845 yards and is a par 69, 72 for the ladies. Wilpshire is not a long course by modern days standards, there are only two par 5’s on this layout, five par 3’s, leaving the rest to be par 4’s. Wilpshire Golf Club is a combination of parkland and moorland, there are a number of blind tee shots, where hitting off line could result in finding some tricky patches of rough where you can, the rough around this course can be very penalizing, so hitting the fairway around this layout is key. Also found around this layout are a collection of penalty areas, ready to swallow your ball if you’re not careful. The greens are tricky with hidden slopes, concentration when reading greens is key or you could made to look silly, leaving yourself in the correct spots on the green or even missing the green in the correct places can save you a lot of shots round Wilpshire Golf Club.
