Course Overview

Whitehead Golf Club is considered to be one of the hidden gems of the stunning Antrim coast. Located four miles north of Carrickfergus and eight miles south of Larne, just outside of the town of Whitehead, the 18-hole course is located on Muldersleigh Hill which has been home to settlements dating back to the Stone Age. It's not hard to understand why people have been drawn to this area for thousands of years, with unparalleled vistas across Belfast Lough to Scotland and from the Glens of Antrim to the Mourne Mountains, which you will enjoy as you play your way around Whitehead Golf Club! Whitehead Golf Club comprises a challenging but fair 18-hole course which will be enjoyed by novices and seasoned golfers alike. With the top 9 holes playing more like a links style of golf course and the bottom being more like a parkland course you can really make the most of the best of both worlds. Whitehead Golf Club was established in 1904 and was relocated from Blackhead to Muldersleigh Hill in 1970. Whitehead Golf Club pride themselves on welcoming visitors and you will find some truly excellent bar and restaurant facilities at Whitehead along with a fully stocked pro shop. Why not extend your visit to Whitehead to include a trip to Islandmagee and visit the newly restored historic Gobbins cliff-face path!
