Located to the east of the Cleadon Hills of South Tyneside, between South Shields and Sunderland on Lizard Lane, Whitburn Golf Club offers challenging golf with panoramic vistas of the North East coastline stretching from County Durham to Northumberland. It overlooks dramatic North Sea cliffs and is a magnificent setting to play golf. Whitburn is a family-friendly golf club, where visitors and societies are always welcome. We strive to maintain high standards of excellence, on and off the course, and this makes us an attractive venue for our members and guests.
