Course Overview
Set in rolling Staffordshire countryside on the outskirts of the historic market town of Leek, Westwood Golf Club is a picturesque course divided by the beautiful River Churnet and is surrounded by wooded hills. Founded back in 1899, the course has matured substantially over the years and offers a stern test for golfers of all abilities. Separated by the River Churnet the front nine and back nine of Westwood Golf Club offer very different challenges. The front nine holes offer a unique challenge with no two holes alike, thanks largely to the undulating lies and variable terrain. In contrast the back nine offers a flatter parkland challenge, consisting of open, well manicured fairways.
