Course Overview
Verulam Golf Club is an 18-hole championship course in St. Albans stretching to 6429 yards from the Medal Tees, par-72. Although the course isn’t' long, accuracy is key as many of the holes are well protected by mounds, slopes and bunkers. Verulam Golf Club has a superb drainage system resulting in very little course closures in the winter season. Verulam Golf Club has a strong connection with the Ryder Cup, with Sam Ryder, the founder of the Ryder Cup joining the club in 1909. Verulam Golf Club boasts extensive practice facilities with a short game area, putting area, a small short course and practice nets. Verulam Golf Club also has a Blue Course which at 3858 yards, par-72 is ideal for the new golfer who wants to play forward from the main tees and improve their game this way.
