Course Overview
Located less than a half hour north of Fort Worth near Eagle Mountain Lake, The Golf Club at The Resort offers a course with great variety, plenty of terrific views and an all-around challenging experience, no matter the level of player. The biggest challenge, perhaps are the tight fairways, so the first part of the recipe at The Golf Club at The Resort is hitting it straight off the tee. The course has also undergone numerous improvements in its evolution. Three years after it opened, PGA Professional Mike Hoelzer directed a renovation to take better advantage of the natural terrain. That means the holes work their way around live oaks, creeks, ponds with lots of doglegs water features and elevated greens. Over the years, the course also all new greens and an additional 25 bunkers. In addition to the course, golfers can also enjoy the facility's extensive practice facilities -- which include a large, fully-grassed range, short game area and putting green -- as well as The Golf Club at the Resort's 8,000-square foot clubhouse, which houses a well-stocked golf shop, men's and women's locker rooms, and full-service restaurant that serves a variety of specialty dishes. Visitors can also enjoy dining and drinks poolside.
