Course Overview
The Orchards Executive Golf Course is Lawrence’s premier 9-hole executive golf course, which is open year-round, weather permitting. The facility consists of a 9-hole (four Par 4’s and 5 Par 3’s) executive golf course; a 9-hole sanctioned FootGolf course; putting green and clubhouse. This unique gem is located in the center of Lawrence along Bob Billings Parkway and is within walking distance of the KU campus, as well as being easily accessible to out-of-town guests. With large trees lining every hole and being only 1,776 yards from the back tees, it is a very easy and enjoyable walk, although golf carts are available. The layout and length of the course make it very welcoming and extremely friendly to the beginning/novice golfer, while at the same time, testing the most skilled golfer from the back tees. The fairways are wide and with forced carries on three holes.
