The Chief Golf Course is a championship 18-hole course in northern Michigan with views of Lake Bellaire. Known as The Spirit of the North, The Chief was given a 4-star review by Golf Digest in the 2008-2009 edition as one of the Best Places to Play. Designed by John F.
