Course Overview
Located in the foothills of the Sierra-Nevada Mountains, Teleli Golf Club is well-conditioned scenic golf course that's gained favor among both locals and travelers. Formerly known as Mountain Springs Golf & Country Club, the course was acquired by the Tuolumne Band of the Me-Wuk Indian Tribe and reopened in 2019. The name, "Teleli," translates from the Me-Wuk language as "Black Oak." Originally opened in 1990 and designed by Robert Muir Graves, the par-72 course plays 6,559 yards from the back tees. Rated nearly five stars by Golf Advisor readers, it has four sets of tees. A couple of water hazards come into play, most notably on the par-3 17th. The rolling fairways are generous, and greens run on the large side. The course has quite a few large bunkers but few trees. Teleli Golf Club also offers a full service restaurant, fully stocked golf shop, driving range and putting greens.
