Course Overview

The golf course which was designed by former world number 1 Laura Davies and David Walker, opened in 1994. Sutton Green is a maturing course set in the rolling countryside. The golf course boasts an advanced irrigation system that ensures the condition of the course is maintained to a high standard throughout the year, meaning that temporary tees and greens are not necessary. The clubhouse bar offers a selection of locally produced Real Ales. At 6,400 yards Sutton Green is a relatively flat course, and is reasonably easy to walk. The maturing trees make the course appear to be quite open, allowing players to bring out the driver on certain holes, however the layout of the course utilises subtly placed hazards, tight fairways and undulating greens to add to the difficulty level.
