Course Overview
Beautiful and challenging, Silver Styx Golf Course offers a premium golf experience and a good value. Formerly known as Buck Ridge Course, the course has undergone improvements recently under new ownership. There are elevated tees, gorgeous water features, nicely sculpted bunkers, mature trees, and undulating greens that will test your putting skills. The par-72 layout has four sets of tees and plays a little more than 6,700 yards from the tees, conforming to the natural contours of the land. It?s one of the few championship layouts that starts with a par-3, but the 180-yard first is a great opening hole, playing over water to a well-protected green. There are back to back par 5s on nine and 10. They are the no. 2 and no. 1 handicap holes respectively. The ninth is 600 yards; the 10th is a tight dogleg right that plays 560 yards. Walking is allowed at Silver Styx Golf Course, but powered golf carts are available for those who wish to ride. In addition to the course, there is a practice putting green and clubhouse, where you will always find friendly hospitality in the well-stocked golf shop. Food and beverages are also available.
