Course Overview
Laid out in a setting of hills and trees, Silver Ridge Golf Club is a medium length par-72 course with a nice variety of holes and views. Designed by the course's former owner, Lowell Beggs, the course opened in 1964. It has four sets of tees and can play as long as 6,571 yards or as short as 4,988 yards. The semi=private course showcases a natural setting with hills, trees, creeks and wooden bridges. One of the signature holes is the Heavenly Eleven, a 180-yard par 3 that plays from an elevated tee. The par 5s can be especially difficult. The 563-yard fourth is the no. 1 handicap hole, and the 535-yard 17th, is rated as the no. 2 handicap hole on the course. Silver Ridge Golf Club has good practice facilities, which include a driving range, short-game area and practice green. The clubhouse has a golf shop, bar and restaurant and banquet facilities.
