Course Overview

Located on the stunning West Coast of the Isle of Arran, Shiskine Golf Club is one of the most naturally picturesque courses in Ayrshire. Founded in 1896, Shiskine has established itself as being a friendly & welcoming club. This 12-Hole seaside links measures just 2,996 yards but is one of the interesting layout’s visitors are likely to have played. The sand-based turf allows for dry conditions under foot, making it an enjoyable course to play year-round. The quirky terrain has been cleverly used to create various blind shots around the course, including some par 3’s. Visitors to Shiskine Golf Club can expect to find small fast rolling greens, which can make scoring difficult. Snaggy windswept rough and seaside bunkers await shots lacking accuracy. Shiskine’s ‘Crowes Nest’ provides all visitors with the opportunity to relax with a hot meal & refreshments overlooking the course & seafront. The clubhouse is a popular spot for the locals, both members & non-members. The warm welcome coupled with the extensive bar & restaurant menu make it the perfect place to spend some time following a round on the links.
