Course Overview
Designed by Major Charles Mackenzie, this undulating parkland course opened in 1937 and features spacious fairways set amongst a variety of mature trees in the scenic West Yorkshire countryside. The course plays host to a number of esteemed golfing events such as county matches of the Yorkshire Union of Golf Clubs, in addition to the English Ladies Golf Association tournaments. This course is a 6456 yard par 71 parkland course set in the West Yorkshire countryside. A few tough opening holes are followed by some longer more open holes where long distance tee shots pay dividends. The highlight of the course is the dogleg 14th hole where long hitters can reach the elevated green in 2 if their tee shot carries to the end of the dogleg before playing towards the clubhouse.
