Course Overview
Located in the stunning west coast of Wexford, Ireland, Rosslare Golf club provides a very fair test and a golf course laid out a true traditional links style. Rosslare Golf club was founded in 1905 originally as a 9-hole course until the club moved to the present site on the strand which is home to the beautiful 18-hole course today. The course measures at just over 6700 yards but with the ever-changing coastal winds this can make the course play differently every day. Rosslare is relatively flat, however there are many run off areas, pot bunkers and undulations giving the true links feel. The course provides a great test but gives a chance to shoot scores with reachable par 4s and tough par 3s. There are also a few blind shots, and the most famous one is on the signature 11th hole a 481-yard par 4 called ‘The Barber Pole’ which relates to the red and white pole used for the blind shot into the green. Rosslare Golf Club is a terrific choice for your regular rounds of golf or a new destination for you and friends when visiting Rosslare.
