Course Overview
Named the 13th most improved course in the United States in 2016 by Golf Advisor readers, The Club at Rebecca Creek is a good value for golfers in the Austin-San Antonio area. Located just 30 miles north of San Antonio's International Airport in Spring Branch, Rebecca Creek opened in 1993. The course was designed by George Hoffman, who did a few other courses in Texas and Mexico, including Olmos Basin, a muni in San Antonio. Under new ownership since 2017, the par-7 6,820-yard course has neither bunkers nor water hazards, just gently rolling terrain surrounded by live oaks and other native trees. There are several doglegs, but for the most part, even if you miss a fairway, recoveries are generally pretty easy on many of the holes. A couple of the pars 4s are drivable for long hitters. The course also offers a driving range and practice green as well as a golf shop and dining in the clubhouse.
