Course Overview
Designed in 1977 by Lou Powers and renovated in 2018, this 18-hole St. Clair golf course plays 6,900 yards from the back tees. This course presents a significant challenge for even the most experienced player, boasting 78 bunkers and water hazards that majestically weave through 15 of 18 holes. Meanwhile, novice players will enjoy the dramatic elevation changes that the Northern Michigan area is known for. From the tree-lined fairways to the wildlife, rivers, and vegetation, golfers will love the on-course experience at Rattle Run. In addition to the excellent golf on our greens and fairways, guests will love Rattle Run’s elevated, 4,000 square foot clubhouse with its rustic decor and seating for as many as 100 people. Renovated in 2018, the clubhouse has full-length windows and a wrap-around balcony with a panoramic view of the course. The full-service bar and grill feature classic American offerings from burgers and fries to pizza to grilled chicken, hot dogs, sandwiches and salads.
