Course Overview
Opened in 1933, Pype Hayes is a mature 18 hole par 71 course with plenty of interesting features. Within the course, you'll find the state of the art, 60 station gym. The golf course has curved fairways lined with gorse and broad leafed trees, firm contoured greens and lots of deeply sanded bunkers. The key to most of the par fours is to play an iron for accuracy off the tee with a middle to short iron. This is a very forgiving course, fairly flat with sufficient gradients to make it interesting, and with a few ditches as the only water hazards. There is also a good practice area.
