Course Overview
With two terrific golf courses and a history of hosting high level tournaments, Morongo Golf Club at Tukwet Canyon offers a high level experience to golfers of all abilities. Both courses were designed by the distinguished team of Lee Schmidt and Brian Curley, who in 2012 were awarded architects of the year. Lee and Schmidt made great use of the naturally beautiful terrain. The Champions Course plays 7,377 yards, and The Legends Course is 7,442 yards. Both are par 72s and feature six sets of tees. The facility, which is the "home of the Southern California PGA," has played host to the women's Symetra Tour IOA Champion for many years, as well as PGA Tour Champions qualifying tournament, local PGA events and the NCAA Division II Championships. Both courses boast excellent conditions, a lake that comes into play on a few holes, strategic bunkering, and fast, undulating greens. In addition to the golf courses, Morongo Golf Club at Tukwet Canyon also has the county's best practice facilities with a double-end 420-yard driving range, two large putting greens, and two chipping greens. Top notch lesson programs are also offered. And inside Morongo Golf Club's magnificent 33,000 square-foot clubhouse, you'll find a well-stocked golf shop with all the latest apparel, accessories and equipment. There's also a great dining facility, open every day for breakfast and lunch until 4 p.m. There are plenty of big screens to watch your favorite sports teams as you enjoy a menu of appetizers, entrees, draft beers and cocktails.
