Course Overview
The Makalei Golf Club offers 18 holes, par 72 and 7041 yards. All prices per person and include golf cart rental. Makalei Golf Club is designed to incorporate the natural surroundings of native trees, wildlife and natural features such as lava tubes and cinder cones to create a challenging layout. The par 72 layout offers 4 sets of tees that will offer a great challenge to experienced golfers and for the beginner. Located on the upper slopes of Mount Hualalai, every round of golf will be a memorable experience with the breathtaking panoramic views of the Kohala Coast. While playing your round, notice the change in temperture from the clubhouse at 1900 feet to the 9th green at almost 3000 feet. Take some time to appreciate the many birds, diverse flora and spectacular views of the coastline throughout the course. Wild turkey, peacock, and canaries are abundant. Native birds like the Io, hawk; Pueo, owl; and I'iwi can also be found. Makalei Golf Club plays to over 7000 yards from the back tees and offers all golfers a memorable experience while not breaking your bank account.
