Course Overview
Mahon Golf Club was to be Ireland's first purpose made Municipal Golf Course. The Course was officially opened on the 3rd September 1980 and was called the Ted McCarthy Municipal Golf Course. The course as it is now constituted proves a very challenging test to all Golfers. A par 70 18-hole course, it’s one step out of city with beautiful view over the sea. There are some challenge holes with water hazards to keep you thinking as you plot your way round this fabulous course.
