In fact, it was rated #5 by Golfweek Magazine in West Virginia for best public access courses, daily fee and resorts. Locust Hill was also awarded a 4 Star Rating by Golf Digest Magazine in the 2000-2001, 2002-2003 and 2008-2009 editions. Four sets of tees on every hole offer golfing at its best for all skill levels. Whichever tee you choose, challenges abound across the 35 acres of lakes, ponds, and streams, which come into play on 11 of the 18 holes. More challenges, such as numerous sand bunkers and deceiving undulating greens, mesh with what nature and time have provided: scenery and natural beauty seldom found anywhere.
