Course Overview
Lexden Wood Golf Club, also known as Playgolf Colchester is a 27-hole complex with a 18 hole par 70 (5895 yards). Lexden Wood Golf Club was redesigned and redeveloped in 2006/2007, with 1000 yards being added along with new tee boxes, green and nearly 60 bunkers! The greens are to USPGA specification which provide great consistency all year round no matter what the weather. The river Colne runs through the golf course and along with spectacular views of the Colne Valley and the nearby picturesque village of West Bergholt, Lexden Wood Golf Club provides a scenic and wonderful challenge to any level of golfer.
