Course Overview

Among the best public golf courses in Virginia, Kiskiack Golf Club is a wonderful John LaFoy design that will challenge and engage all levels of players. With four sets of tees from 4,915 yards to 6,779 yards, Kiskiack Golf Club sits along a ridge of a natural bluff, offering a wide variety of interesting holes with lakes, ponds, streams, beautifully sculpted bunkers and greens complexes and outstanding conditions. Ranked among the best courses in the state since 2015 by Golf Advisor and one of Golf Digest's "Places to Play," Kiskiack is a course that eases the player in and crescendos down the back nine. The front nine winds through mature hardwoods over natural rolling hills before it finishes uphill along one of two lakes that come into play on the course. The back nine is highlighted by the course's signature hole, the par-3 11th, which plays to a green surrounded by water on three sides. The course closes with a relatively short par-5 at 505 yards from the tips, but with five fairway bunkers and a large lake on the left side of this dogleg left, it's anything but easy. Kiskiack Golf Club has excellent practice facilities that include a driving range, short-game area and putting green. Lessons are available at the golf academy at Kiskiack. And the clubhouse includes a well-stocked golf shop, banquet and wedding facilities, and the Wood Iron Grille, which serves appetizers, soups, sandwiches, burgers and your favorite beverages. Golf packages are also available with local hotels.
