Course Overview
Kilrea Golf Club was founded in 1919 and is situated a half mile to the south west of Kilrea Town. Recent refurbishment to Kilrea Golf Club has meant the course often remains open when nearby courses have succumbed to the Irish climate. The golf course has been extended in recent years to 5,672 yards making it longer than the majority of 9 hole courses, however, the tight fairways and small greens ensure Kilrea Golf course is challenging for all abilities. There aren't many holes at Kilrea Golf Club more challenging than the par 4, 3rd hole. At 483 yards, it demands a long and straight drive. HINT: The distance wind turbine provides the ideal line from the tee.
