Independence Golf Course in Gonzales, Texas, is about an hour east of San Antonio off Highway 183. The 9-hole, par 35 of open fairways and tricky greens sits in the Gonzales city park along the Guadalupe River. Since 1950, Independence Golf Course has helped those new to the game improve and those more experienced sharpen their skills.
