The course itself stands 800 feet above sea level and is set on Brynford Common providing fantastic views over the Clwydian Range and Snowdonia. The town of Holywell is itself known as the “Lourdes of Wales”. Before your round call into the well-stocked Pro Shop where Matt Parsely is the local PGA Professional. Holywell Golf Club sits 800 feet above sea level and is unique for the area in that it is a moorland course with a links feel. The course is a fair test for golfers of all levels with many natural hazards including quarries, water hazards and grass bunkers. Every hole is different which will ensure you retain your concentration on this compact links style course. Beware of the 7th which is the toughest hole on the course with a sloping fairway and out of bounds on the right.
