Course Overview
A fun nine hole course that can certainly be played as 18, Hillside Country Club is a public course that will cater to all levels of golfers. As 18 holes, it's just 6,000 yards for a par of 71 since different tees are played the second time around. Located near the Massachusetts/Rhode Island border, the course first opened in 1972, but improvements have been ongoing since 2013. The enhancements include new irrigation, bunker sand and new tee boxes. As for the course, it's a beautiful parkland layout with a nice variety of holes and looks, with both downhill and uphill shots. The hardest hole is actually the first, a 426-yard par 4. Season passes are also available for frequent players. There is no driving range, but there is a short-game area and putting green. The clubhouse includes a golf shop, bar and grill. Banquet facilities are also available for special events.
