Course Overview

Heythrop Park opened in 2009 but the estate dates back to the late 17th Century and is set in over 440 acres of parkland in one of the most historic estates in England. There are a number of modern practice facilities available including a grass driving range and well maintained putting green. The well stocked pro shop offers buggies and trolleys to hire and being part of a resort, Heythrop offers its golfers the use of extra leisure facilities including a swimming pool and gym. The new 7,088 yard par 72 golf course was designed by renowned golf course architects Mackenzie & Egbert to championship standards. The stunning golf course meanders through ancient woodland, lakes and streams; the ancient woodland is to be marveled at, no more so than on the par 5 14th hole where it guides you to a superb green accompanied by a quaint 18th century stone bridge. The course is a must play for any keen golfer and strategic play is essential if a low score is to be obtained.
