Course Overview

The picturesque 18 hole Mackenzie Championship Course was originally designed by Alister Mackenzie, the head architect behind the world renowned Augusta National which has been at the forefront of some of golf's greatest triumphs in the US Masters. This par 70 course (6209 yds.) is a must for all golf enthusiasts and with Mackenzie’s basic design still in place, the tranquil surroundings offer you a great escape and will allow you to become fully engaged in your game. It is a beautiful tree lined golf course with the most fabulous greenery you will see on any layout. Less than 20 minutes from Aberdeen Hazlehead Mackenzie is very central and is a hidden gem in the north east of Scotland. It is manicured to perfection with the lush fairways and super smooth greens making it a treat to play. They have been able to keep the traditional look to the clubhouse which is a fine bit of architecture overlooking the final hole. Hazlehead Mackenzie should be top of your list knowing the same man designed Augusta National.
