Course Overview

A former private country club, Harrison Meadows Country Club has evolved to offer both members and public golfers a quality golf experience at a value price. The course, which is now owned by the town of Harrison, used to be Willow Ridge Country Club, which has a storied history. Originally opened in 1917 and designed by Scottish golf pro Maurice McCarthy, it was redesigned in 1947 by Alfred Tull and Devereux Emmet before Ken Dye, formerly Finger, Dye & Spann, oversaw a 1998 renovation. Scenes from the 2013 movie, ?The Wolf of Wall Street" were shot at the club as was the Amazon Prime comedy series, "Red Oaks.? Sandwiched between Westchester Country Club and Apawamis, Harrison Meadows is in a new era. As for the course, the par-71 layout plays around 6,500 yards from the tips with four sets of tees. There are plenty of bunkers, trees, a few elevation changes, and small, undulating greens. Besides the course, there?s a driving range, short-game area, and practice putting green. Golf instruction is also available. Inside the stately clubhouse is a well-stocked golf shop, l0cker rooms, and restaurant, which is open every day. The Social Kitchen & Bar offers a contemporary American style menu with a modern twist in a sleek ambiance setting.
