Conveniently located only minutes from downtown Nelson, BC, Granite Pointe Golf Course is a must-stop destination to round out your Kootenay travel experience. A gem in BC’s scenic Kootenay Rockies Region, you’ll want to bring your camera to capture the spectacular views of Nelson, Kootenay Lake and the famed Kokanee Glacier. The course, which underwent a complete overhaul and expansion to 18 holes by acclaimed architect Bill Newis in 1993, traverses through park-like and mountainous terrain. Generous fairways, elevated mountain-side tee boxes along with a number of risk-reward challenges make golfing at Granite Pointe an exciting and rewarding experience for all levels of golfers. Not surprisingly, many people who come to Nelson never leave.
