Course Overview
One of the better municipal courses in the state, Gardner Golf Course is a very playable and well-conditioned layout that offers enjoyment to a wide variety of players. Named the 19th best course in Massachusetts in 2018 by Golf Advisor, the par-7 course has four sets and can play as long as 6,131 yards. The design eases golfers in with more forgiving from nine, while the back nine is tighter and hillier along the shores of Crystal Lake. Thought the course are small, well protected greens, which puts a premium on accuracy and a good short game. The facility, which goes back to 1936, has a driving range and short-game area. Lessons are also available. There is also a membership program that provides more advanced tee times as well as other perks. The clubhouse includes a bar and grill as well as a well-stocked golf shop.
