Course Overview
With beautiful scenery, a friendly staff and a fun golf layout, Gambler Ridge Golf Club remains a favorite venue in the central New Jersey area. The golf course, which opened in 1985, is a par-71 that plays 6,347 yards from the back tees. There are three other sets, starting at around 5,000 yards, though, which makes it a good time for all levels of players. This thoughtful design incorporates rolling fairways, manicured greens and strategically-placed sand bunkers, and water features. Rated four stars on GolfPass, the course is also a good value. The layout exhibits a great variety of holes. The 321-yard par 4 13th, for example, is a great risk-reward holes. This dogleg left wraps around a lake, so big hitters can try to get it near the green, while the more conservative play is an iron down the middle of the fairway. A strong finishing stretch includes the 402-yard, par-4 17th. The course's no. 1 handicap hole, no. 17 is long and straight. In addition to the golf course, Gambler Ridge also has a driving range and putting green. Lessons are available from the golf professionals at the club. The clubhouse includes a well-stocked golf shop with the latest in apparel and accessories. And the clubhouse restaurant, which is open daily, has a full-service bar and grill with a wide variety of items on the menu. There are banquet rooms. And while the club welcomes public play, memberships are also available.
