Course Overview

Ferndown Forest Golf Club, located north of Bournemouth, is a picturesque 18-hole woodland golf course. Ferndown Forest provides a range of floodlit practicing areas including a 20-bay driving range, putting and chipping green and short game and practice bunker. Within the clubhouse, there is a Foresight GCQUAD Simulator running the latest FSX software. The peaceful country bar & restaurant is open all week long and is famous for using locally sourced ingredients and Sunday lunches. The bar & restaurant shows Sky Sports and BT Sports every day and evening. Ferndown Forest is a flat short 5,051-yard par 69 course that features meandering streams and ancient woodland. This course has a good mixture of par 3, 4 and 5 holes. The course proves to be a test for all golfer abilities. The back 9 is for those with a long drive with the multiple par 5s. Ferndown Forest has two feature holes, the first being the 12th hole, a par 4 with a dogleg and an approach shot over a lake to the green. The second is the 18th, a par 5 that allows big hitters to approach the green over the river.
