Canada's "Golf Course of the Year" in 1998, Fairmont Hot Springs Resort's Riverside Golf Course offers 6,507 yards of inviting fairways and perfectly manicured greens, all designed to CGPA standards. Multiple tee settings and relatively level fairways make Riverside a pleasure for all levels of player, while tremendous variety in length and terrain tests the versatility of expert golfers. The headwaters of the mighty Columbia River figure prominently in Riverside's design. All par 3s use the gently winding river to guard the greens, and signature hole No. 5 crosses the river twice. Renowned for its superb putting surfaces and course conditions, Riverside is widely hailed as a superb walking course with spectacular mountain and river views.
