Situated on 163 acres of lush, rolling hills in Batavia, Ohio, Elks Run Golf Course is a 6,833 yard championship course that is both challenging and enjoyable to play. Utilizing bentgrass greens, tees and fairways, this Greg Norman design takes advantage of the rolling hills and creeks to provide a course that works within its natural characteristics. This only maximizes its beauty and difficulty. Though Elks Run is a test of strategy and skill, it is also fair and honest. Norman, who thinks of each course he designs as a fingerprint of life, strives to design a course where "somebody walks off and enjoys shooting 130 and somebody walks off and enjoys shooting a 63 or a 64. Then you know you've done a good job."
