Course Overview
Just a 5 iron from downtown Tucson, El Conquistador in Oro Valley, Arizona, is an award-winning 45-hole golf facility with two 18-hole courses (Canada & Conquistador) and one nine-hole course (Pusch Ridge). Designed by Greg Nash and Jeff Hardin, the Canada Course at El Conquistador is brilliantly routed through rustic foothills offering spectacular views of the stunning Catalina Mountains. While the par 72, 6,636-yard Canada Course is not as difficult as the Conquistador Course, Canada still features a number of holes that pack a punch. The signature 183-yard, 8th hole is consistently voted as the toughest par 3 in Tucson with a green that is surrounded by desert wasteland and protected by a large bunker. With lush fairways, beautiful mountain views and countless iconic saguaros, El Conquistador provides golfers with the very best in desert golf.
