Course Overview
As one of the oldest of England golf Clubs, Durham City Golf Club is also one of the most popular. It’s renowned for its hospitality to visitor and its fantastic 18 hole golf course. The clubhouse features an upstairs lounge and bar which overlooks the 1st tee and 18th green. The Golf Club is surrounded by beautiful scenic views of the countryside which can be appreciated from both clubhouse and course. The 18 hole Durham City golf course measures 6,349 yards and is a 71 par course. Offering a challenge for all abilities, the course takes advantage of subtle slopes and gentle terrain to surprise golfers with testing features. Each hole nearly provides its own test as the course runs along the “River Browney” and the greens are enveloped by trees.
