Course Overview
Located in a 55-plus senior gated community of manufactured homes, Date Palm Country Club is a well-maintained executive course with great views. The course, designed by Ted Robinson St., opened in 1971. Located in the Coachella Valley with views of the San Jacinto and Santa Rosa mountains, the par 58-course has four par 4s and 14 par-3 holes. There are two sets of tees, playing from 2,481 yards to 3,029 yards. The holes range from 96 yards from the back tees to around 250 yards for all of par 4s. The no. 1 handicap hole is the 168-yard par-3 eighth, which has a pond in play. Water appears a few more times on the course, but there are few forced carries, and there are just a few bunkers throughout the layout. There's no driving range, but there is practice bunker, short-game area and practice green. The clubhouse at Date Palm Country Club has a golf shop and restaurant. And the club also offers a swimming pool and tennis.
