Just a stone's throw from Datchet Village sits Datchet Golf Club. Situated next to the River Thames, with views of Windsor Castle, Datchet Golf Club is home to a 15 tee, 9-hole course with plenty of challenge. The clubhouse was rebuilt in 1998 and has all the modern facilities you need for post-round relaxation including food and drink. If you want to warm up before heading to the first tee, be sure to use the fantastic practice areas. Datchet Golf Course is a hidden gem and should not be underestimated. Its two loops of 9 holes are played from 15 different tee positions so you’ll only have to play off the same tee a few times on the back nine. The small but perfectly manicured greens are protected by bunkers and the tight narrow tree lined fairways ensure a competitive challenge for any standard of golfer. It’s a small course which packs a big punch with 5 par 4s over 400 yards and 3 par 5s and your accuracy is key to achieving a good score.
