Course Overview
Cushendall Golf Club is a par 32 nine-hole course on the shores of Red Bay in the heart of the Glens of Antrim. Golfers can enjoy views across the Sea of Moyle to the Mull of Kintyre on the Scottish coast. The course itself is entwined with the River Dall, which winds its way through seven of the nine holes. Although right on the coastline, it‘s a parkland golf course that opened in 1937. Holes of note include the second, which requires an iron shot off the tee across the river to a plateau green, and No. 8, a par 4 that has out of bounds on the right a the green in a hollow within the river loop. The fifth at Cushendall Golf Club can be a "Tin Cup" hole if you're not careful. Some players lay up on the 143 meter par 3 to set up a safe pitch to the elevated green. The river doesn't show up on No. 6, but bunkers do in the middle of the par 4 fairway. There are three tees for the par-33 golf course ranging from 2,181 meters to 2,059 meters.
