Course Overview

Craddockstown Golf Club is a par 72, Arthur Spring-designed course that has a diverse mix of holes, lots of water and dramatic par 5s. It doesn't start timidly, throwing at you a par 5, 447-meter hole from the whites that includes a half dozen bunkers and a very large lake that the fairway wraps around. Thankfully, No. 2 is a short, 121-meter, par 3, but the water is still there, in front, to the left and behind the green. The 10th hole is a feisty par 4 with a bulk-headed green that will bounce into the drink any short approach shots and 13 requires another do-or-die approach. A stream crosses the par-5 14th hole three times. You get a chance to dry off on the next hole, a par 3 with two huge bunkers guarding the green. Craddockstown, which opened in 1994, finishes with one last par 5, with water, of course, cutting across with a pond waiting near the green. Championship tees are 6,133 meters long, two sets of middle tees are 5,748 and 5,492 meters, respectively, and forward tees stand at 4,963 meters.
